Hoping this one posts! :) I would agree that "working together" from home is not the same as "date night"! I'm sure you and your husband will cope quite well with these additional technological parenting challenges; it seems you work together and cope well... Thanks much for stopping by!Lynn @ Smoke & Mirrorshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00464153596817995684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5883575980086212146.post-18287981823641258042014-10-17T19:15:03.108-05:002014-10-17T19:15:03.108-05:00I'm sorry it's taken me so long to comment...I'm sorry it's taken me so long to comment on your post! I'm glad you enjoyed the book and could relate to parts of it. I totally agree with what you said about the importance of spouses remaining connected throughout the parenting years. If I could do one thing over again, it would be to "date" more. My husband and I work together, so we always thought it was enough. But we went on a rare date not long ago while our son was at a sleepover, and we had so much fun! So different from simply working together, which really just means being in front of our computers under the same roof.

Technology and parenting - ugh...definitely new territory for this generation of parents (myself included)!

Thoughtful review, as always.Ceciliahttp://onlyoublog.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5883575980086212146.post-14662562307584917702014-10-07T10:37:13.587-05:002014-10-07T10:37:13.587-05:00Personally, I think you have enough on your plate ...Personally, I think you have enough on your plate right now, Emily! However, I did feel it was a worthwhile read and I will pass along some of the strategies mentioned to my own children as they enter the teen years with their children! :)Lynn @ Smoke & Mirrorshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00464153596817995684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5883575980086212146.post-32585895609763015892014-10-07T10:22:06.878-05:002014-10-07T10:22:06.878-05:00Great review!
