24in48--completed July 24 2016

Rachel of 24 in 48 Readathon (@24in48Readathon)
is hosting another
#24in48Readathon
on Saturday and Sunday, July 23-24.
I have never really registered and gone 'whole hog' with this before,
but since I have no obligations for that weekend
and a ton of reading to get done--I'm in!

I will post updates to this page throughout the weekend.

Update #1

FINAL Update

I decided to read some library books that are due back
that I wanted to read, rather than anything from the following list!

What will I plan to read?
Oh, my, so much to select from...
That will depend to a great degree upon
how much I read between now and then!

Some possibilities:

Missoula: Rape and the Justice System in a College Town
by Jon Krakauer
(Campus Book Club, Nonfiction)

The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness
by Michelle Alexander
(Social Justice Book Club, Nonfiction)

Middlemarch by George Eliot
(Bex's #EliotAlong Event, Classics Club, Women's Classic Literature Event)

Little Town on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder
(Little House Read-Along 2016 hosted by myself and Bex, Classics Club, Women's Classic Literature Event, Historical Fiction)

The Pickwick Papers by Charles Dickens
(Behold the Stars Read-Along, Classics Club)

Hunger Makes Me a Modern Girl by Carrie Brownstein
(Emma Watson's Feminist Book Club on Goodreads, Nonfiction)

The Complete Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi
(Emma Watson's Feminist Book Club on Goodreads (playing catch-up), Nonfiction)

How to Be a Person in the World:
Ask Polly's Guide Through the Paradoxes of Modern Life
by Heather Havrilesky
(Keep Turning Pages Goodreads group, Nonfiction)

Have you done this before?
Are you planning to join in the fun for this one?
